The Bethel Native Corporation (BNC) is an Alaska Native Corporation. It was founded in 1973 under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, which provides special contracting privileges with the Federal Government. BNC has a strong history of providing professional services and delivering construction projects on a continuous basis for nearly fifty years.

Services. BNC provides a broad range of environmental, engineering, and construction services to local, state, and federal agencies throughout the Pacific Rim and other select areas. These services are provided through multiple wholly-owned subsidiaries that specialize in one or more core areas:

Integration. While each subsidiary is an independent operating entity, they function as an integrated holistic team. The subsidiaries collaborate and, where advantageous, may utilize one another’s personnel, equipment, and financial resources to provide highly qualified and efficient project delivery teams. The project delivery teams are tailored to deliver superior results with economic benefits for their clients.

People. People are the key resource to our Project Delivery Teams. They consist of multi-discipline professionals and craftspeople with the education, training, and technical expertise to successfully deliver results. These team members have diverse backgrounds in construction, engineering, science, business, and mechanics. The subsidiaries leverage tiered labor pools which enables them to provide results in a competitive and an economic manner while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Resources. BNC grosses in excess of $100 Million per year. As an established and successful corporation, they have a depth of financial resources and assets to fully support the operations of their multiple subsidiaries. BNC owns numerous commercial and undeveloped properties throughout the west as well as an extensive inventory of heavy equipment and other specialized equipment related to their core services. Other resources include long term banking relationships, comprehensive insurance, and substantial bonding capacity. This combination of resources enables the subsidiaries to deliver contracts with success and confidence. Additionally, the subsidiaries have independently established working relationships through various joint ventures with large business that enable their teams to bring substantial resources to bear.

Geography. BNC subsidiaries actively operates throughout North America and select locations in Asia and Europe. They have a strong focus on the Pacific Rim. Operations are led from multiple strategic platforms. BNC is headquartered in Bethel, Alaska. The headquarters for the operating subsidiaries are located in Anchorage, Alaska. They maintain a strategic presence in San Diego and Seattle. Field offices are established for select long term projects.
