Bethel coordinated the design, site development, and construction of this 57,800 sf mixed use facility which houses a retail grocery and general merchandise store, two movie theaters, and a central food pavilion.
Bethel Yuut responded to a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) competitive small business set aside manufacturing solicitation on April 30, 2024. DLA awarded the contract to Bethel Yuut on February 4, 2025 with five one-year ordering terms. The first article delivery date is September 26, 2025. The City Shop is a 90’x150’ clear span metal building with 20’ eave heights. The building includes a concrete foundation, floor slab, exterior aprons, and a steel structure with insulated metal siding panels. Due to the extreme weather in Egegik, the building was designed to withstand wind and snow loads, as well as the seismic effects prescribed for the geographical area.
Bethel was contracted to perform a tank demolition and contaminated soil removal action and remediation at this FUDS.

Biannual compliance sampling is part of the compliance-related cleanup project plans for both the Camp Zama Old Landfill (CZOL) and the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) Gas Station at Camp Zama, Japan. CZOL is a reclaimed landfill and currently supports a golf driving range, skeet range, and other uses.
